Job Description:
AI Infotech is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The role involves building, executing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web and API testing, while working closely with our on-shore client in the USA. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in automation tools and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java, Selenium, Playwright, Karate.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications and APIs.
- Maintain test coverage to ensure high-quality releases.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand-ups within Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Identify, report, and track defects; work with teams for timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks and optimize test execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in QA automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of Java and automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Karate.
- Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger).
- Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
